COVID-19 UPDATE | Trouts ONLINE ONLY through April 10th

No matter where you are across the US, the impacts of the COVID-19 outbreak are real and growing on a daily basis. On Sunday, we elected to go to “Curbside Pickup and Online Only” in an effort to protect our customers and employees, and we have been overwhelmed with your response. We are adapting daily, and extremely grateful to our customers who have come out to support us during this time.

While your support is appreciated more than you know, we have been addressing this crisis from the standpoint of ensuring we are here to assist the angling community in getting out on the water. As all anglers know, Fly Fishing is a great source of escape, and an ideal way to be outside and away from others. From what we have seen over the course of the past 3 weeks, rivers are open and people continue to go fishing.

Per the Stay at Home order issued yesterday by Denver Mayor Michael Hancock, we will be closing our Denver retail location at 4 PM today and will remain closed through April 10th. With that said, our online business will remain open, and we will be processing and shipping orders daily; Monday - Saturday. Our commitment is to be here to serve you, and we intend on doing everything we can from a virtual standpoint to help make the most of your time on the water. Whether you’re looking for flies to go fishing, or you’re needing to upgrade your waders, we will ensure you get what you need in a timely manner.

During this closure, the Trouts’ Team will be working remotely, and we are planning a variety of new programs, tutorials, and virtual ways to interact and engage with you; our extended Trouts Family. We’ll be sending more information on this in the coming days, so please stay tuned. I am also happy to report that construction on our new location is proceeding forward, and we are very much looking forward to sharing this new space with all of you soon.

I want to close by thanking all of our customers, family, and friends for all of their support during these difficult times. 2020 marks my 15th year as owner of Trouts Fly Fishing, and I stand humbled by the community we all have created. Trouts wouldn’t be what it is today without all of you, and I know I speak for the entire team when I say Thank You!
