EACH WEEK we choose one report from our Guide Reports section of the FISHING INFORMATION page! Click the Guide Report dropdown and you'll find up-to-date Guide Reports from our professional fly fishing guides. Each report will detail the location, timing, hatch information, fly selection, and rigging.

This week's Guide Report is brought to you by Kaleb Orrock. Read below to hear about Kaleb Orrock and his recent walk/wade trip on the Blue River at Silverthorne. Stay tuned to our Guide Reports section for more reports as we continue to get clients out on the water

Gin clear water and sight fishing.

"The Blue River in Silverthorne is fishing great. Fish are happy with the increased flows and spreading out throughout the river feeding on a variety of bugs. Water clarity is still gin clear and fish can be sighted from the banks. Fish have been holding in the deeper runs as well in the small pocket water. The top producing bug during the day was the Black Beauty Emerger size #20. We also picked up fish on an olive mini leach, Charlie's Mysis #18 and Rainbow Warrior #18."
