Trouts Fly Fishing Forecast | December 16th Edition

Ivan Orsic / Dec 16, 2020

BREAKING NEWS! It's definitely winter in Colorado. We're not going to see a ton of change in the bugs we're imitating over the next couple of months. For the most part, it will be a midge, blue-winged olive, and attractor fly game, especially on the tailwaters. Winter is an excellent time to focus on an important tool in your angling arsenal. PRESENTATION!

Work on depth control, mending, and rigging are all skills to hone during these colder months.

Don't miss Zeke Hersh's live stream "Summit County & Beyond: High Country Winter Fly Fishing" on Wednesday, December 16th at 5:30 PM on our YouTube channel. Tune in HERE!
