FRESH FROM THE ARCHIVE: The Sliding Perfection Knot with Head Guide Scott Dickson

Ivan Orsic / May 11, 2020

A week or two ago, Trouts Head Guide Scott Dickson gave his live stream presentation about "Spring Fly Fishing on the South Platte" (Check that out HERE). During the presentation, Scott talked about the knot he uses to rig his droppers (on both his hopper-dropper & nymphing rigs). That knot is the SLIDING PERFECTION LOOP.

We figured now was a good time to take a look back in our archives and check out a video we made WAY BACK in 2017 with the one and only Scotty D. So, let's take the way back machine three years back and learn Scott's go-to knot for tying droppers off of the bend of a hook. It's quick, easy, strong and a great on-the-water timesaver.
