Gear up for Spring!

Ivan Orsic / Mar 7, 2017

Daylight savings time is this weekend! Nothing like the quick hit of extra sunlight at the end of the dark winter rainbow to get my blood pumping for spring and summer fishing. Soon enough, we will be spending magic hour on Nunya Creek casting to risers, floating a big Western river, or waiting for an incoming group of feeding bonefish. In preparation for the warmest of summer months, we are restocked on SIMMS, SAGE, REDINGTON, and RIO products.

Here are a few highlights:

SIMMS Current Boat Shoes: With wet wading season around the corner, don’t forget to stop by and check out the new SIMMS footwear. SIMMS has taken it’s wildly successful Right Angle Footbed (RAF) technology and utilized it in a wide array of their footwear line including the Current Boat Shoes According to SIMMS, “The RAF was designed to put your feet and therefore, the rest of your body into the correct angle — the right angle.” As part of our spring restock from SIMMS, we are now fully stocked with the new Challenger Boat shoes, Westshore Leather Shoes, Westshore Slip Ons, SIMMS Transit slides, Women's Current Shoes, and Women's Clearwater Sandal, all of which feature RAF technology.

SIMMS Bounty Hunter Vault: The popular and previously back-ordered SIMMS Bounty Hunter Vault can house up to 8 10 foot, 4 piece rods - plus 8 to 10 reels of all sizes. A perfect companion for a trip to the mountains or the salt!

SIMMS G4 Tactical Hip Pack: The G4 Tactical Hip Pack will come in handy for those upcoming endless summer days on the water. The pack comes with a removable water bottle, can hold up to 4 fly boxes, and has super rugged TPU-coated fabric with critically taped seams so you can wade deeper with confidence.

REDINGTON Rise III: The new Rise III features a u-shaped large-arbor and a compact carbon fiber drag system that offers smooth fish stopping torque. A perfect tool for protecting some light tippet this summer.

RIO Powerflex Tippet: Nylon tippet has a short lifespan and you wouldn’t want to put that big spring dry fly eating brown from finding the bottom of your net, in jeopardy. So, refresh your supply of Nylon tippet with a spool or three of RIO Powerflex.

Good spring fishing is upon us! Make sure to stop by and get geared up for the season!
