New Film Project for Trouts Guide John Spriggs

Ivan Orsic / Jan 30, 2021

The Summit Daily highlighted a new film project just underway by John Spriggs, Taylor Seaton and filmmaker Edward Clem. You might remember these three from 2019’s short film “The Book of Pow” – an amazing ski film shot here in Colorado. Spriggs, in addition to being a professional skier and Colorado native, is also a professional fly fishing guide here at Trouts.

Here is a snip from Antonio Olivero’s sneak peek of the project, the personalities, and what we can expect once the project wraps up.

“After the 16-minute “The Book of Pow” showcased the variety of local terrain, Summit County local John Spriggs and U.S. Pro Halfpipe Team freeskier Taylor Seaton have reunited with filmmaker Edward Clem for a project not limited to the Colorado backcountry. Spriggs said the film may become a two-year effort and will range from pillow lines to deep powder shots to more backcountry jumps. Seaton made his foray into filming with “Book of Pow” and said he is eager to include more jumps in the second movie.”
