River Clean Up: Clean Up the Blue River with Trouts Frisco

Ivan Orsic / May 9, 2017

NOTE: Due to the recent inclement weather in Summit County, Summit County and the Town of Silverthorne have cancelled the 2017 Clean Up Day. While the weather may preclude you from cleaning up the Blue, it shouldn't keep you off the water altogether. Have a great weekend!

The crew at Trouts Frisco are staying busy during their Mud Season, in addition to tomorrow's Bugs & Bluegrass Event, on Sunday May 20th, Trouts Frisco is cleaning up the well-loved, oft-fished Blue River through Silverthorne. When you think of fishing in Summit County, you would be remiss not to include this famous tailwater stretch through the Silverthorne outlets. The Blue River is an amazing year-round fishery that provides amazing access for anglers of all levels of experience to trophy sized tailwater trout. This stretch of river sees it's fair share of anglers and outlet shoppers throughout the year. With these crowds, comes litter. As the exclusive fly fishing outfitter of the 2017 Town of Silverthorne Clean Up Day, Trouts Frisco is proud to lead the charge and keep this valuable stretch of water clean. Check out the details below and we look forward to seeing you out there on May 20th!
