South Andros Island Bonefish Video

In preparation for our trip to the Andros South Lodge in the Bahamas in mid March, I’m in a constant state of research and preparation. I haven’t been to South Andros Island in almost 10 years. For many of our clients, this will be their first salt water fly fishing adventure – ever. For me, there is always a sense of excitement as a trip nears.

We will be taking our clients out for a private casting clinic later in the month to get everyone tuned up for the trip. As part of the planning process, I scoured the interwebs trying to find a decent video that captures some of the situations we’ll hopefully see during our six days fishing South Andros Island – tailing bonefish, waking bonefish, cruising bonefish… barracuda. This video has a little bit of everything. I shared this with our clients and I figured the Trouts contingent would dig it as well.

Stay tuned for our next Bahamas pre-trip installment when I cover my bonefish and ‘cuda rigs, soup-to-nuts. If you have a saltwater trip that you are preparing for, don’t hesitate to give us a call at 303.733.1434, check out our online store or just stop by the shop.
