THE CURRENT 2021 IS HERE!

Ivan Orsic / Mar 12, 2021

We're proud to present the 2021 Edition of The CURRENT. This is the 7th edition of our shop magazine and we couldn't be more excited to share what's inside. Considering the nature of the past year, the theme of this year's edition is HOME WATERS.

Featured Inside: Our Home on the Denver South Platte with Rick Mikesell, A Rundown of the Colorado River with Will Rice, Backyard Bassin' with Kyle Wilkinson, Underground Rivers with Cam Scott, Tips & Tricks for taking better fly fishing photos with Kat Mueller, an interview with Paul Puckett (the man responsible for our Trouts Denver Mural), Tips for Exploring the High Country with Will Rice, Talking Fish & Sticks with Trouts Guide & Pro Skier John Spriggs, a look at the evolution of a fly angler with Courtney Despos, a recipe for "Carp Tacos" with Scott Wells, the joys of Working from Home(waters) with Reid Baker, and a piece from The Flyfish Journal's Copi Vojta.

The 2021 edition of The CURRENT is available to pick up at the Trouts Denver location and will soon be making it's way up the hill to the Frisco shop. With some impressive snowfall totals forecasted for the Front Range this weekend, a mix of the new issue of The CURRENT and the recently released Five Flies for March 2021 might just be the perfect way to hunker down and get ready for the upcoming season.

Swing by the Denver shop to pick up your copy. If you aren't local, we're more than happy to get a copy in the mail for you. Request your copy HERE!

We hope you enjoy The CURRENT, our home is your home, or maybe we'll see you on the water.
