There’s No Right Casting Style

Ivan Orsic / Nov 15, 2017

When I saw this video from Orvis come across my facebook feed, myself and our Outfitting and Education Manager Dave Lovell were unusually excited. When it comes to fly casting, there are two major schools of thought: The All-Wrist School and the No-Wrist School. Far too often there are harsh judgments from both camps thrown back and forth when diagnosing casting problems. Peter does a great job of explaining the fact that while the technique can vary, the result is what truly matters. Enjoy this short casting demo from Peter Kutzer at Orvis!
