Trouts Guide Service Report: 05/21

Ivan Orsic / May 22, 2015

The number one question around the shop from customers lately is probably a pretty easy one to figure out- "Can you still fish with the water like it is?!" The answer is obviously a resounding "YES" and our guide trips are proving that as well. Last week gave us everything from rain to snow to even a little bit of sun....and then all three of those conditions over again. Trouts head guide Scott Dickson was out braving the conditions and putting his customers on fish proving once again that he is one of the best you'll find in Colorado.

Looking at the snowpack still up in the hills, paired with the 10 day forecast ahead of us, it's safe to say we're going to be looking at high water for quite some time. If I had to take a guess at it right now....I'd say we won't be seeing Deckers below 500 for the next month and a halfat least (and quite possibly longer than that).

For now though, all you can do is take the conditions with a grin and as I always say......get out there and make it happen!
