Trouts Guide Service Report: 10/27

Ivan Orsic / Oct 27, 2015

Whether we've headed to the Platte, Blue, North Fork or Fraser, keeping our nets handy has been a good rule to follow! The Fall fishing has been incredible lately with eggs, worms, baetis, midges, stoneflies and streamer patterns all putting A LOT of fish in the net! The weather for the next 10 days is looking great and I expect many more days like the ones pictured below to be the norm!

We're still seeing quite a few Brown trout paired up and on their beds so PLEASE be careful when wading through anything less than knee deep and leave these fish alone to do their thing. Take a moment and admire nature at work, and then move on and find some non-actively spawning fish. I promise there are plenty of those to go around. If you need a refresher on spawning fish on their redds, click HERE.

Lastly, we still have a few days left to take advantage of our Fall Guiding Special!! Book a full day trip and get a $100 gift card to the shop. Book a half day trip and get a $50 gift card to the shop!
