Trouts Guide Service Report: 8/26

Ivan Orsic / Aug 26, 2016

I don't know if there's any other way to sum it up these past few weeks than to take another look at the sentence above.

We're starting to move into that oh-so special 'transition time' around here. It's still definitely Summer, yet every now and then you get a little whiff in the air that Fall is nearing. Night time temps- especially up near our newest location in Frisco- have started to be noitceably cooler and the near daily afternoon showers have been creating some fantastic fishing from start to finish most every day.

Whether it be on the Eagle, Colorado, Blue or South Platte, flows are also ideal to create some truly memorable days on the water right now. Wading is easy. The bugs are still getting active. The fish are on the feed. Oh, and the best part- with many people being occupied with 'back-to-school' related activities- the rivers have been noticeably less crowded.

Long story short- if you haven't been out on the water in Colorado lately I HIGHLY suggest you change that reality.

We're still having guide trips out every day and as the pictures below will surely indicate, it's a fantastic time to be a fly-fisherman in Colorado.

So what are you waiting for! Give us a call or swing by our Denver or Frisco locations to get your Guided Fly Fishing Trip on the books. Our team of guides can't WAIT to show you the best day you've ever had on the water!
