Trouts Guide Service Report: 9/29

Ivan Orsic / Sep 29, 2015

I know the calendar says October will be here before the week ends, however there has been no signs of things slowing down on the guiding front. We've continued to remain on the water nearly every day and the fishing has been very good to say the least. Deckers continues to improve with the lower/more stable flows, and the Dream Stream is also continuing to produce. We're still running some trips to Granby Ranch and the Blue as well- the scene of a bent fly rod has been the norm at both these locations as well.

From a fly perpsective, it's starting too resemble fall as well with eggs and a baetis nymph putting the majority of our fish in the net lately. Other than that, San Juan Worms, Chocolate Emergers, Copper Johns, Barr's BWO Emergers, and Rainbow Warriors are all finding their way into many a rainbow and brown trouts mouth as well. On my trip last Saturday we still got over a half dozen fish to eat a hopper as well in the afternoon.

And to think......it's only going to get better from here.

Don't forget about our Fall Guiding Special! There's still plenty of time to take advantage of this incredible offer!

Give us a call or swing by the shop to book your very own Guided Trip today!
