For many years, we have proudly partnered with Yellow Dog Fly Fishing Adventures to assist us with all our travel needs, as they are renowned in the fly fishing industry as the leading experts in Fly Fishing Destination Travel. Yellow Dog is the premier name in fly fishing travel and we're excited to feature one of their unique, exciting destination each month.

This month, we're featuring an entire region that's dedicated to fishing for trout. Patagonia. Trout fishing in Patagonia, including both Argentina and Chile, is some of the best found anywhere in the world. The region of Patagonia is huge and fisheries vary depending on where you are- the arid landscape of Argentina will remind anglers of the Western U.S. and the large trees and thick vegetation of Chile will conjure images of the Pacific Northwest. Both areas harbor astounding waters with large trout. If you enjoy casting big foam dry flies to large aggressive fish, then Patagonia is a destination every serious fly fisher needs to experience at least once in their lives. Between lakes, rivers, and excellent spring creeks each lodge is unique and offers a different fishery to explore.
