Getting started in fly tying can be overwhelming. There are seemingly a million terms, techniques, tools, and the like. But, it doesn't need to be that hard. We're here to make it as simple and approachable, as possible. That's why we're excited to debut a new video series we're calling "Trouts Tips | Getting Started in Fly Tying."

In this episode, Eric Schmidt introduces the tools you'll use when starting your journey in fly tying. From the bobbin to scissors to hair stackers, Eric covers the use of each tool. We expand on these tools and their uses throughout this series.
