TRIP SUMMARY

Great day on the lower Colorado. River looked great and the fish were active. Saw quite a bit of midge activity throughout the day. Lots of adults tumbling across the surface but didn’t see any fish rising. Midge imitations were the ticket today. Desert storm midges in size 18 took tons of fish in the deep runs. We also caught fish on Utah Killer Bugs in size 14. Make sure you have enough weight to get your flies down where the fish are. Spring fishing is here! 20+ hook ups.
