The Colorado River continues to fish really well. Tons of midges ranging from size 24-16 everywhere but still no fish rising to them. Fish are starting to spread out some but are still preferring the deeper water. If you are struggling to find fish, add more weight before changing flies. Caught fish on midge imitations, small stones, scuds, rainbow warriors and various other attractors I tie. We nymph fished all day and didn’t throw any streamers. Saw a good hatch of blue wing olives but no risers to them. Spring is here!!!
