TRIP SUMMARY

The recent rise in flows still had the fish acting a little unsettled. There was also quite a bit of loose moss in the flow, so we were cleaning our rigs constantly. Despite that, we were able to find a few good ones and put them in the net. There was a good BWO hatch but the fish didn’t seem to respond to it. Instead they were mostly keyed on bigger stuff like worms and leeches. We also got a couple on small buckskins.

On a side note, trout are incredibly slippery little suckers and are not very easy to hold for a photo.
