TRIP SUMMARY

It was WINDY with a capital everything in South Park this past Saturday. Despite challenging conditions, the Stillwater School students overcame the wind, and put their new skills to use! Lots of fish caught, including many, drag pulling, hard jumping, Stillwater slabs. Balanced Leeches were the Number One producer, with Matt Winkler's Balanced Leather Leech in Purple as the standout. A few fish were also caught on Chironomids, primarily Egan's Stillwater Frenchie. Fish were in the deeper drop buckets, fairly tight to the bank. While difficult to impart action in what is essentially Surfing conditions, Slow movement with an occasional hard twitch triggered most eats.
