TRIP SUMMARY

Wow, what a day on the DSP! Fish were everywhere, happy and eating hard. The Carp School students were quick studies, and all landed beefy DSP Carp on their first go! The river is Crystal Clear and full of vigor. The heavy grass can create some challenging presentations, and with clarity, a fish will spook easily if you get too close or make too much noise, but any properly placed fly will trigger an eat from the next level happy fish. Fly seemed irrelevant, so long as weight was adequate and was well placed. FIsh were caught on Barry's Carp Fly, Tungsten Jigged Bugger in Grizzly and Black, Morlock's Carp Breakfast, Detroit Mop City, and Whitlock's Near Nuff Crayfish.
