TRIP SUMMARY

Really great day on the Arkansas River. Although it poured down rain on us for most of the day, fishing was very very good! Indicator nymph rigs were my go to today. Tungsten Walt’s Worms and frenchies were our top flies. Any slower moving pocket water seemed to hold a fish or two. We stuck with this set up the entire day and were able to catch lots of fish at every public access we stopped at. Saw some caddis flying around in the afternoon but didn’t see any risers to them. All in all a very great day of fishing regardless of the weather! Good luck out there!
