Had a blast today on the river with some beginners! Flows dropped a little earlier this week and are down to 125cfs. Got to the river early and instantly saw the largest Trico hatch I've seen yet this summer. Fishing small Trico drys can be difficult and tricky but well worth the reward. After the hatch was over fish put their heads down. Leech patterns as well as emerging midge patterns were the ticket for the rest of a great morning. Water temp at 1:00pm was near 68 degrees. Be sure to keep a thermometer on you and keep water temps if they get too high!
