Great day on the Arkansas River with some great clients. We stuck with dry dropper rigs for the entire day as this is my favorite way to approach the Ark. Size 16 yellow Chubby Chernobyls with a size 18 splatte roller and size 20 tan zebra midges stayed on the rigs all day. Got some nice eats on the hoppers but most of our fish were taken sub surface. Fish were in the deeper pocket water or right against the bank along structure. Just because you can’t see the fish doesn’t mean they aren’t there. I like to target every little possible holding spot and be thorough! You’ll be surprised how many extra fish you’ll find. Action packed day for some first timers! Good luck out there!
