TRIP SUMMARY

Another quality day down at Deckers. With cold water temps early in the AM, the fish are making us work a bit harder for them. That said, if you can find one usually there are a few more willing to eat close by. We saw sporadic Tricos around 10 AM but no fish looking up during this time. A small black RS2 was the ticket. The fishing picked up significantly in the afternoon with the top fly being a small Split Case PMD. Also took fish on San Juan’s, Olive Leeches, and small Pheasant Tails.
