The Eagle is fishing great right now! Some colder nights and nice early fall weather has had a positive effect on the fishing. All methods of fly fishing produced today, nymphs, drys and even streamers. In the morning there was a large midge hatch and nymphing was hot with Dorsey's Top Secret Midge being our top fly. As the morning progressed fish started to rise to the surface to eat Trico and PMDs. In the afternoon hatches started to slow but fish were still eating nymphs and black streamers. Overall great day on the river with good company.
