TRIP SUMMARY

The Blue in Silverthorne keeps on moving along, steady as always. Be patient and do your best to match the hatch. Some days, these trout love a big meal like an olive leech or tan San Juan worm. Behind those big attractor flies, trail small midge and baetis emergers like a Top Secret midge or a JuJu baetis. Patience is the key with these conditions. Once the day warms up a bit around lunch, tie on a hopper dropper and have fun watching these trout take a few looks at the big grasshopper pattern (They might even take it).
