TRIP SUMMARY

It's business as usual at the Blue in Silverthorne. Low flows means trout are stacked up in deep runs and pools, which makes it easy to find. Though they can be quite stubborn as you'll find yourself cycling through a lot of flies to find what they want. Tiny and shiny tends to be my go to for these conditions. We were able to get some nice fish in the net with a few flies; Manhattan Midge and Mercury Baetis emerger were our top choices for the day.
