Awesome afternoon on the Eagle with lots of great fish to be had. With lower fall flows, nymphing with 4X and 5X fluorocarbon was the ticket to success. Fish seemed very happy and willing to take an abundance of flies this afternoon. When fishing the deeper runs, make sure you have enough weight to get those flies down in the zone right away. When you move into shallower zones, adjust weight accordingly. Top flies were Rainbow Warrior (18-20), Shotglass Baetis (Red-18), WD-40 (Olive- 18), Jiggy Frenchie (20), and mini stones. Fall fishing on the Eagle still continues to produce!
