Saturday was a full day of fun and fish! Two great groups, both with some fly fishing experience and first timers alike. We were into fish within minutes of our first casts and although there were a couple short lulls throughout the day we were seeing consistent success from start to finish. Tiny bugs were the best for us. Small (size 22-26) chocolate foam backs, wd-40s and red/black zebra midges pulled in the most fish. Flows have dropped again so a heavy lead fly 2.5'-3' below your indicator seemed to work well without scraping bottom every cast. Consider using a smaller than average indicator so you aren't making large splashes in the low flowing, ultra clear water spooking your targets. Look for areas where there are drop offs or edges of fast moving riffles for your best chance. We did also have some of our group having success on streamers so don't overlook those right now!
