Great day with first time fly anglers on the Eagle River. Size 22 olive jujubee midges, black zebras, size 20 purple frenchies and size 20 $3 dips produced for us all day. Found lots of fish in the deeper, faster pocket water. As always, making sure you are using enough lead to get your flies down is critical. If you’re not catching fish, add more lead before changing flies. Water temps stayed between 56-60 degrees. Good luck out there!
