TRIP SUMMARY

Tough afternoon with a big bump in flows and heavy, consistent rain. With water clarity murky, go with big flies that will get attention; worms, leeches, guide's choice hares ear, stoneflies, etc. Those will give you the best chance at enticing hungry trout. Let your nymph rig swing at the end of your drift and hold it down river for a few seconds. This can really get some good attention.
