TRIP SUMMARY

Great float with a first time fly fisher. Lots of caddis flying around all day but fish aren’t rising to them. They were however eating caddis pupa mid column and this proved to be the ticket for most of the day. Water was off color but the trout had no problem finding our size 18 Lafontaine sparkle pupas. We also caught a few fish on size 10 pats rubber legs. The wind made it challenging but we prevailed butting several nice browns in the net. Good luck out there!
