TRIP SUMMARY

Horse Creek to Cottonwood fished much better today. Started out with dry dropper set ups which produced a few fish on small stonefly patterns. We had consistent action on the chubby so we switched to just a double dry set up. A size 10 royal chubby and size 16 cinnamon ant kept clients busy all day. Fish were really keying in on the ant pattern, especially the bigger fish. This time of year on windy days, try using a hopper or ant imitation as many terrestrials are blown into the river. All in all a great day fishing dries.
