It was a trico morning on the Eagle. We did catch a few fish on worms and pats rubber legs before the hatch started but the focal point was the tricos. Fish started riding around 9:00am and continued for the rest of the morning. Size 20 black parachute adams presented with a drag free drift resulted in great dry fly action. River temps were in the 50’s for most of the morning. Took my final read at 12:30 when we quit and it read 62 degrees. If you’re wanting to fish the Eagle, please do so early when temps are cold!
