SOUTH PLATTE BASIN Fishing Report Weather @SOUTH PLATTE BASIN - Updated September 23, 2020 - 6:08pm by OpenWeather

Current River Flow Updates

Antero Reservoir fishing report: Fishing remains great on the reservoir as we proceed into the colder months. Midges, callibaetis, and a few damsels are still present on the lake. Hanging flies off below indicators in the 3-4 feet zone still remains one of the best ways to catch fish here. If you plan on walk-wading, be sure to focus your efforts at first light, mid/late morning, and the evening hours. These time periods have been the best from shore,

Spinney Reservoir fishing report: Spinney is beginning to turn on again. Colder nights have created more consistent eating habits. Midges, leeches, and damsels are all working well underneath indicators. Stripping sinking lines has also been very effective in the morning and evening hours.
